Hereford Diocesan Guild of Bellringers

Welcome!

Welcome to the website of the Hereford Diocesan Guild of Bellringers.

We are a registered charity (No. 1105766) working with church bellringers throughout the large Diocese of Hereford.

The Guild is separated into eight geographical Districts, each has its own District Officers who work to help, support, train and inform church bellringers within their area.

We are an entirely voluntary organisation, and we aim to

    • Encourage interest in the ancient art of bellringing
    • Teach new bellringers
    • Educate and train existing bellringers, so that they can perform to their highest ability
    • Bring ringers throughout the Diocese together, so that they can support each other, and learn from each other
    • Help churches and bellringers to care for all the bells within the Diocese

You will find information about our member churches, activities, and the District areas throughout this site, but if you cannot find what you need, or would like more information on bellringing in general please contact our Public Engagement Officer Nicky at peo@hdgb.org
